Haiti Supports Israel

Port au Prince, Haiti – May 1, 2013

Haiti supports IsraelHaiti, the tiny Caribbean country, almost the exact same size as Israel, has gathered together to support Israel today.

Cross to Light held its second “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” support Israel event in Port au Prince, Haiti’s capital city on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 .  It was a huge success with thousands of community leaders attending from all over Haiti to express their support of Israel.

The Mayor of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy, was gracious to help provide the event’s venue where there was live music, an important message and prayer for Haiti’s President Martelly.  Since last years support Israel event, an epicenter of reconstruction has emerged around the Mayor’s house.  Is is a picture of Isaiah 58:12 Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Historically, the nation of Haiti was one of three critical last countries to vote for Israel to become a nation on November 29th, 1947 at the United Nations General Assembly.  Resolution 181, otherwise known as the Partition Plan, was voted in favor by the majority of the UN assembly.  Resolution 181 called for the partition of the British-ruled Palestine Mandate into a Jewish state and an Arab state and provided the Jews, escaping the Holocaust, a place to live without the fear of being exterminated.  Without Haiti’s vote, it is possible that this crucial resolution would not have passed.

Cross to Light, the ministry that operates the Haiti Bible Training Center in Port au Prince, Haiti is a strong supporter of Israel and conducts on-going efforts in support of the people and nation of Israel.  Cross to Light hosts annual Holy Land tours to Israel, distributes pro-Israel items and holds various support Israel events throughout the year which now include the “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” event in Haiti’s Capitol.

Cross to Light plans to hold more support Israel event’s in Haiti to demonstrate the nation’s steadfast and continued support of Israel and the Jewish people.

Pro Hezbollah, Pro Hamas Stations Broadcasting in America in Possible Violation of the Law

The Boston bombers, Tamerlan and Dzokhar Tsarnaev claim that they were radicalized in America.  However, the Hezbollah and Hamas presence in America can be found in two stations illegally broadcasting Hezbollah and Hamas television channels in the United States and potentially radicalizing other would-be terrorists within America’s borders.

The Lawfare Project has found that two television stations—NileSat IPTV in New Jersey and ArabTV4ALL in California—are broadcasting transmissions from pro-Hamas (al-Aqsa) and pro-Hezbollah (al-Manar) television stations. According to a memo prepared by the Lawfare Project, both al-Aqsa and al-Manar target children in their broadcasts and encourage them to become suicide bombers.

Iran Launched Destroyer Jamaran

Iran Destroyer Jamaran DeployedTEHRAN, Iran –  Iran launched a domestically built destroyer named, Jamaran (Jama means to “collect”) in the Caspian Sea on Sunday, its first deployment of a major warship in the oil-rich region, state TV reported. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated the guided missile destroyer Jamaran-2 in the port city of Anzali, about 150 miles northwest of Tehran.

He said the deployment aimed to bolster peace and friendship in the region. “The destroyer is there to meet those who want to jeopardize the security of surrounding nations,” he said, without elaborating.

After final tests, the report said, Jamaran-2 will join Iran’s naval fleet in the sea in coming months.

The 1,400-ton destroyer, which has a helicopter landing pad, is 94 meters (yards) long and can cruise at 30 knots. It is equipped with surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles as well as anti-aircraft batteries and sophisticated radar and communications terminals, the report said.

Iran launched a previous version of the Jamaran destroyer in 2010 in the Persian Gulf.

Since 1992, Iran has been building a self-sufficient military, reportedly producing its own jet fighters, tanks, missiles and light submarines as well as torpedoes.

Both Israel and the United States have not ruled out military strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities. The West suspects Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, a charge Iran denies verbally.
