Which Presidential candidate is pro-Israel and why should we care?
Because the Middle East conflict will not go away if we ignore it.
If we think we can avoid engaging Israel’s enemies in an attempt to protect ourselves we have fooled ourselves into a false hope of peace.
The enemies of Israel, led by Ayatollah Khamenei who believe the End of Days has come, declare that they need nuclear weapons to destroy not just one country, Israel, which they call “the Little Satan,” but also the United States, which they call “the Great Satan.”
Just as the three Americans thwarted the terrorist attack on a train in France in August, we need a President who is willing to command the right actions to oppose planned terrorist strategies that include Iran’s nuclear path. Currently, we have chosen to put our head in the sand, pretending that Iran is making nuclear capacity for innocent means when their own national charter clarifies that one of their primary goals is to destroy Israel and then destroy the United States.
Our next President will have to engage this growing out of control problem, or we will be destroyed. If he chooses not to engage this issue, our nation will be torn into pieces just as the bible declares in Zechariah 12:3, “And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”
The current Iran nuclear deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and the attendant U.N Security Council Resolution 2231, has been passed unconstitutionally by our President. This deal makes legal the current illegal Iranian nuclear program and allows for expansion.
This new deal with Iran provides at least 24 days notice before any inspector can enter a nuclear facility. It permits Iran to buy, sell and transfer weapons and technology that could be used to build nuclear weapons.
President Obama has issued this deal as an “executive agreement” which bypassed Congressional approval. Without the approval of the people’s representation from our representatives in Congress, Obama has submitted and secured an approving vote from the U.N. Security Council.
Our Constitution declares in Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the U.S. Constitution states: “The President… shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur…”
The Iranian President if very pleased with this Obama deal, expressed in his televised speech to the nation of Iran on July 14 which summarized the following praise; our centrifuge allowance and technology level increased from 100 to 6,000 and IR1 to IR7, our restrictions were reduced from 25 years to 8. The plant in Arak does not have to be dismantled, the Fordow plant remains open with 1,000 centrifuges approved, sanctions across the board have been lifted!
The Iran deal that President Obama unconstitutionally approved without the people’s approval assures Iranian nuclear capability within one to five years.
Our next President will have to be willing to vigorously and quickly remove this deal or he or she will be the President who sees the demise of our country under the heavy and ambitious nuclear hand of Iran.
